Market Crew
We are currently seeking market workers for all farmers markets. (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, possibly Wednesday too)
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Our staff must be able to learn and work quickly, as well as multi-task. Because of the fast pace, we need people who can take initiative to complete necessary tasks on their own without being asked to do so.
Our market stand is a great place to work. Our employees have a lot of fun, and the customers are always happy to be there. At market we are constantly focused on keeping our tables stocked and presentable, and assisting customers. We don’t just complete transactions, we educate people about produce, and and talk to them about how to cook things. If you love food and people this would be a lot of fun for you!
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Must love produce and people.
- Must be prompt and reliable.
- Must be hardworking and detail oriented.
- Must be customer service focused at all times and be professional around customers, wear a smile, and have a good time.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds easily.
- Must be able to accurately add prices and count back change. (or use a calculator accurately)
- Must be able to work the same market day chosen throughout the season. Current market days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (You can work one or all markets.)
